Stockwell To Be Named Oswego State Men's Hoops Coach

Multiple sources have confirmed that SUNY Oswego will soon name Adam Stockwell as their men's basketball head coach. Stockwell has been the coach of Clarkson for the past five seasons. This past season, he led the Golden Knights to a 15-11 record and a place in the Liberty League post-season tournament. The year prior, Clarkson won the league tournament as Stockwell was named conference coach of the year.

Stockwell was a standout basketball player at Belleville-Henderson Central School, located about 45 miles northeast of Oswego. He went onto play for LeMoyne College, where he is among the program's leaders in scoring, steals, and three-point shooting. He comes to Oswego State as the successor to 13-year coach Kevin Broderick. Broderick left the program last month to accept the head coaching position at his alma mater, Nazareth College.
