Former OCC Lazer Cody Jamieson Scores Championship Winner

He missed the first 12 games of the season due to an issue with his junior college transcript, but junior Cody Jamieson made it worth the wait today for the Syracuse University men's lacrosse program. The 2007 JUCO Male Athlete of the Year scored the game-winning goal in overtime of today's NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship.

Jamieson played his first two seasons of college lacrosse at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse. There, he led the Lazers to back-to-back undefeated seasons and a pair of NJCAA titles in 2006 and 2007. He now has one more year of eligibility at the NCAA level.
