Ryan Maloney is a freelance reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN and 570 WSYR).

His coverage of the 2010, 2011, and 2013 NCAA Division III Frozen Fours in Lake Placid appeared in The Post-Standard and on Syracuse.com.

He attended SUNY Oswego where he majored in Broadcasting- Mass Communications.

Ryan was also the radio voice of the Oswego State Lakers from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego.

Ryan is an avid supporter of Syracuse University and Oswego State Athletics, the Syracuse Crunch, Chiefs, and the Big Apple's elder professional sports franchises (Yankees, Giants, and Rangers).

I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR). I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting- Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers. The VOTL.com is also simulcast on Bleacher Report.
