Baseball Game Day: Oswego @ Cortland
I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers. The VOTL.com is also simulcast on Bleacher Report.

Men's Hoop Season Ends in ECAC Semis
Oswego State had built a 10-point lead with 13:57 remaining in the second half, but St. John Fisher countered with a 15-2 run to earn their second lead of the period. The Lakers would tie the game with 1:14 remaining when Reuter converted a three-point play.
The Cardinals hit three free throws in their next two posessions to take a 72-69 lead before fouling Downing as he attempted a three-pointer with three-seconds remaining. Downing converted his first two attempts, then missed the third following a St. John Fisher timeout. Sophomore Jose Uribe pulled down the offensive rebound, but missed his putback attempt. The Lakers finish the season with a record of 16-11.
