USA Hockey announced today that Oswego State men's ice hockey coach Ed Gosek is the recipient of the 2009 Walter Yaciuk Award. Gosek will be one of several people honored at the President's Award Dinner on June 5 as part of USA Hockey's Annual Congress in Colorado.The Walter Yaciuk Award is presented annually by USA Hockey's Coaching Education Program to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the program during many years of service as a volunteer. Gosek is an active participant in USA Hockey's select summer festivals, where he has coached in St. Could, Minn. and Rochester, NY.
