The Oswego State men's basketball team will play host to the 2009 SUNYAC championship this weekend as they vie for their first conference title in 44 years. Cortland and Fredonia will get the semifinal round started with a 6 p.m. tip-off at the Max Ziel Gymnasium. The host Lakers will take on Brockport at 8 p.m. in a rematch of the 2008 semifinal round.

Men's Basketball Game Night: SUNYAC Playoffs
The Oswego State men's basketball team will play host to the 2009 SUNYAC championship this weekend as they vie for their first conference title in 44 years. Cortland and Fredonia will get the semifinal round started with a 6 p.m. tip-off at the Max Ziel Gymnasium. The host Lakers will take on Brockport at 8 p.m. in a rematch of the 2008 semifinal round.
I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog.
