The Oswego State volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at today's SUNYAC West pool play at The Z. Fredonia (pictured), who finished the weekend with a 5-0 record and never dropped a game, made quick work of the Lakers in the first game. Geneseo then earned their second victory of the day with a four-game win over Oswego State.Overall, the Lakers dropped three of five on the weekend and are in fourth place in the SUNYAC West standings. They won't have a chance to advance their place in the division until Oct. 16 when pool play resumes at Buffalo State. Oswego State returns to action Wednesday night when they host Utica at 7 p.m.
