The Oneonta Red Dragons (5-1, 1-0) stretched their SUNYAC winning streak to 12 after a 5-1 thrashing of Oswego State (2-4, 0-1) today at Red Dragon Soccer Field. A pair of sophomores stole the show for Oneonta, as Danny Bruh (pictured) netted two goals and Gary Laronde scored the game-winner three minutes into the second half.Oneonta is in their third season of Division III play after reclassifying from Division I. They ran the table last year in their first full season of SUNYAC play since their return. This is the first season that the Red Dragons will be eligible for the NCAA tournament.
For the Lakers, today marked their second straight loss. They have lost consecutive games on two seperate occasions and will look to break their current streak Wednesday afternoon when they visit Morrisville.
