Oswego State Starts Five-Game, Eight-Night Stretch Tonight

The No. 1 nationally-ranked Oswego State men's hockey team takes the ice tonight as conference foe Brockport visits the Campus Center Ice Arena.  The game marks the beginning of a five-games-in-eight-nights tilt for the Lakers, a stretch that will test the endurance of a team averaging more than six goals per game in SUNYAC play.

Brockport (4-5 overall, 2-4 in confernce) enters Friday's match-up riding a two-game winning streak after.  The Golden Eagles took the title at last weekend's Skidmore Invitaional.  Goaltender Todd Sheridan (pictured) recorded his first shutout of the season in a 5-0 victory over the University of New England on Saturday.

Brockport forward Tom Galiani will look to keep his personal hot streak going tonight.  The junior has scored three goals and assisted on two markers during the team's winning streak.  Face-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
