Long-time coach Frank Paino was hit in the head by a line drive late in a game at St. John Fisher College. Video of the accident has surfaced online at YouTube.com, it can be viewed below. The incident occurs at the 2:00 mark.

I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog.
