Oswego State junior Tiarra Garrow defeated defending SUNYAC No. 1 singles champ Dana Lim Friday when Lim was forced to retire due to injury. Garrow held a 4-1 lead in the first set at the time of Lim's forfeit. Garrow is now 7-0 as a No. 1 single in her first season with the Lakers. Garrow's victory was the line bright spot in the Lakers' 8-1 loss to New Paltz.
