The 2008 high school football season kicked off for section three last night. The Oswego Buccaneers (0-1) suffered a 42-6 thrashing at the hands of East Syracuse-Minoa (1-0). They will face Jamesville-DeWittt (0-1, pictured) in their home opener Sept. 12. WNYO is currently in talks with the Oswego High School administration about covering all Buc home games this season. Friday Night Kickoff

I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers.
