Ducky Drake is the longtime radio play-by-play announcer of Plattsburgh Cardinals hockey. He is also the host of "Behind the Bench," a weekly sports talk show with Cards coach Bob Emery. The shows are archived on the web and you can hear them by clicking on "Rockin' Ducky" at CardinalHockey.net.
I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers. The VOTL.com is also simulcast on Bleacher Report.
