Oswego State's Angie Friesen was injured during Saturday's exhibition loss to the Nepean Wildcats. The 5-9 sophomore defenseman went down early in the game with what a appeared to be a wrist injury. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance. More on her condition later.

I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers.
