Steve Zaillian and Aaron Sorkin penned the script based on Michael Lewis' bestselling tome. Stan Chervin wrote an earlier draft.

Academy Award-winner Steven Soderbergh was originally set to direct it, but now that job belongs to "Capote" director Bennett Miller.
