The Oswego State Lakers have climbed to the mountain top of Division III men's ice hockey, but they're not alone. Joining them is a very familiar companion, the Plattsburgh Cadinals. Both Plattburgh and Oswego State earned 282 points in the USHCO.com poll released Monday afternoon. The Cardinals actually received one more first place vote than the Lakers despite the fact that Oswego State won this season's first head-to-head match-up between the two schools 5-2 on the road. They will meet again Jan. 30 in Oswego.
Go Oswego! Lake Placid this year? It would be a great accomplishment for the 3 seniors leaving in May. Let's hope they don't lose their touch and pull off a couple of conference games this weekend at home. Puck Flattsburgh.
