Mike Williams Would Like To Slide In Your Guts
Syracuse starting wide out Mike Williams has taken to his Facebook profile in recent days, and his status updates have been interesting to say the least. The cover of last season's media guide Buffalo native is returning to the team this year a university-issued suspension cost him all of the 2008 season. He tied a school single-season record as a sophomore with 60 catches. He also owns an active streak of nine straight games with a touchdown grab, the longest such streak in the nation. Orange fans have eagerly anticipated the return of Williams after a 2008 season in which no member of the Orange receiving corps eclipsed 30 catches. Judging by his updates, he's equally as eager to get all up in our guts (click image to see full size):

I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers. The VOTL.com is also simulcast on Bleacher Report.
