Yikes.Matthew Webb:
Well, if they don't crash and burn early there, they're really set up to make a big run in the 2nd half of the season. They're literally at home for 2 months straight, even with the holidays mixed in there.
How about two MCHA teams in Oswego only five days apart? I like.Hammer:
Potentially. They could also be looking at Elmira-Adrian within 5 days, too, if I'm reading the schedule right.Matthew Webb:
Which I believe you are. And yeah, MSOE might not play Oswego, but will still be there playing two Eastern teams. Hopefully it can dump at least one the same way it dumped Babson the last time the Raiders took a trip out there...PrezdeJohnson:
Although the game is in mid-December...Oswego could be looking at playing three different teams that all *should* have or were in the NCAA Tournament in a span of four games.GreatLakerMohawk:
We'll see what the new crop of players can do during that stretch.
There's a word I've heard lately that best describes that schedule:mdmadison:
Brutes.
I guess if you've got a new group of players coming in and nobody expects a run to the NCAA or the league championship from this team because of the loss of so many seniors, why not introduce them into the world of NCAA D3 hockey and what it means to play at a championship level. I think this team will need to step it up to compete and those that don't, someone will be waiting to replace them on the starting roster.Russell Jaslow:
I had hints of this schedule, but was waiting for it to be released before making a comment.
Why is Potsdam/Plattsburgh playing at Oswego/Cortland in the second semester just like last year? I always thought they reversed the order every year.
More specifically, why would Plattsburgh want their big second, and potentially league title deciding, game at Oswego when it should be their turn to host the late game? (All Plattsburgh dominating Oswego jokes aside...)
