Lakers Ranked 3rd In New Poll

The USCHO.com Division III national poll came out with it's second edition of the new season today, placing the Oswego State Lakers 3rd in the country. The Lakers are trailing conference rival Plattsburgh (#2) and reigning national champion St. Norbert in the new poll. This jump from their previous ranking (#6) can be attributed to their victory over Elmira and their ability to go undefeated on a tough Western New York road trip. The Lakers, 5-1-0, will look to keep the winning streak alive this Friday when they take on Morrisville at 7 p.m. in the Campus Center Ice Arena.
