Oswego State pitcher Michelle Jackson allowed eight runs on eight hits while walking four as New Platz beat the Lakers 8-0 in the fourth game of the SUNYAC softball tournament. The game marked the second of the day for each squad, the Red Hawks were no hit by Cortland earlier while the Lakers lost to Plattsburgh on a walk-off home run. The Lakers are now eliminated from their first-ever SUNYAC tournament.

Jackson Shelled As New Paltz Eliminates Oswego
I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers. The VOTL.com is also simulcast on Bleacher Report.
