Elmira beat Oswego State 16-12 in women's lax action at Laker Field today. Laker sophomore Rachel Ventresca (pictured) found the back of the net for the game's first goal, her 43rd of the season, less than a minute into the game. Elmira answered with a 9-0 run over the next 19 minutes to take a 9-1 lead. The closest the Lakers would get from that point on was within two goals late in the second half as the Eagles held on for the win.
