Jones Shuts Out Plattsburgh

St. Norbert beat Plattsburgh 2-0 in today's NCAA title game in Lake Placid. Senior goaltender Kyle Jones became the first player to earn two shutouts in a single Frozen Four. The win gives St. Norbert their first NCAA ice hockey championship. Green Knight coach Tim Coghlin is the first person to win a D-III championship as a player and a coach. He captained Wisconsin-Stevens Point to the 1989 title and was an assistant under Joe Baldarotta for their 1993 championship. Baldarotta is now the head coach at SUNY Cortland.
