M-V-P! Ryan Ellis Takes SUNYAC's Top Accolade

The SUNY Athletic Conference named Oswego State junior Ryan Ellis the Most Valuable Player for the 2007-08 season. Ellis led the conference in scoring with 25 points in league play and tied for the lead in goals with 11. The Georgetown, Ont. native has earned first team all-conference honors in each of his three seasons at Oswego State. He was also named SUNYAC Rookie of the Year after the 2005-2006 season.

Laker goaltender Ryan Scott was named to the SUNYAC first team for the second time in his career. He earned that honor as a freshman in the 2004-2005 season when he was also named SUNYAC Rookie of the Year. He was named to the second team last season.

Peter Maganga, Francois Gagnon, and Rich Zalewski made honorable mention.
