The SUNY Athletic Conference named Oswego State junior Ryan Ellis the Most Valuable Player for the 2007-08 season. Ellis led the conference in scoring with 25 points in league play and tied for the lead in goals with 11. The Georgetown, Ont. native has earned first team all-conference honors in each of his three seasons at Oswego State. He was also named SUNYAC Rookie of the Year after the 2005-2006 season.Laker goaltender Ryan Scott was named to the SUNYAC first team for the second time in his career. He earned that honor as a freshman in the 2004-2005 season when he was also named SUNYAC Rookie of the Year. He was named to the second team last season.
