Junior Tommy Downing (Staten Island, NY) tallied 26 points, 14 in the second half, to lead the visiting Oswego State men’s basketball team to an 81-72 win over Morrisville State College Friday night in Morrisville.Four additional Lakers tallied double figures on the night, including Mahamoud Jabbi (Bronx, NY) with 17 off the bench. Nick Perioli (Liverpool, NY) added 14 as teammates Dom White (San Francisco, CA) and Kyle Reuter (Mexico, NY) each contributed ten. Perioli added six assists and White led the Lakers with nine rebounds.
Morrisville State led 40-39 at the half before Oswego rallied for an early 11-0 run in the second half.
