Oswego State's Brendan McLaughlin (pictured) has been named Player of the Week by the SUNYAC. McLaughlin had the game-winning goal and an assist in Saturday night's 4-3 win over #13 New England. He also had two goals and an assist in the Dec. 30 4-1 win over Curry.McLaughlin joins line-mate Peter Maganga as the only Laker POTW recipients thus far in the 2007-08 season. Maganga earned the honor Nov. 19 after earning four points in a win over Cortland and a goal in a loss to Hobart.
This marks the second consecutive week that the SUNYAC has honored a Laker. Joe Hall earned conference Rookie of the Week on Dec. 10 after earning four points in a home and home series with Morrisville.
