Elmira tops this week's poll, rising from the #4 spot. The Soaring Eagles are 7-0-1, their only tie was at home against Oswego State on Oct. 27. They defeated #6 Manhatanville (7-2-1) 4-3 on the road Saturday. SUNYAC leader Plattsbugh (11-1-0) climbed two spots and is tied with the Eagles for #1. They're lone loss was at Elmira on Nov. 17. The Cardinals host Oswego State on Jan. 25. They defeated the Lakers 4-2 at the Campus Center on Nov. 2.
2007 Pathfinder Bank Oswego Hockey Classic participant St. Norbert (7-1-1) rose two spots to #3. The Green Knights received two first-place votes. They will open the second annual tournament at the Campus Center against Curry Dec. 29. The Lakers will face Amherst in the nightcap. The winners of those games will square off Dec. 30 at 7 p.m.
Wisconsin-River Falls fell from #1 to #4 this week. The Falcons were shutout 5-0 at St. Thomas on Nov. 27 before winning a pair of home games over the weekend. River Falls is 1-1-2 this year when playing away from Hunt Arena. They still managed to hold onto a number one ranking in this week's poll. Hobart fell from #2 to #9 after losing two straight on the road. The Statesmen lost at #6 Manhatanville Friday before falling at Utica Saturday. Hobart defeated the Lakers 5-2 on Nov. 17.
