Lakers Fall From Top 10

The Oswego State Lakers are ranked 12th in the latest division III hockey poll released today by USCHO.com. The Lakers broke even at home this past weekend with a 6-1 win over Cortland and a 5-2 loss to Hobart. The Statesmen rose from 9th to 3rd and gained two first-place votes in the poll after their victory over the defending national champions.

Elmira climbed to #4 and earned two first-place votes after defeating then-unbeaten Plattsburgh 3-2 in Horseheads Saturday. The Cardinals fell from #4 to #7. Unbeaten River Falls is the nation's new top team.
