The Oswego State Lakers are ranked 12th in the latest division III hockey poll released today by USCHO.com. The Lakers broke even at home this past weekend with a 6-1 win over Cortland and a 5-2 loss to Hobart. The Statesmen rose from 9th to 3rd and gained two first-place votes in the poll after their victory over the defending national champions.Elmira climbed to #4 and earned two first-place votes after defeating then-unbeaten Plattsburgh 3-2 in Horseheads Saturday. The Cardinals fell from #4 to #7. Unbeaten River Falls is the nation's new top team.
