Idle Lakers lose 4 votes, stay put

The Oswego State men's ice hockey team remained at #12 in Monday's USCHO.com national poll. The Lakers (4-3-1) managed to lose four poll points despite not having played since a Nov. 17 loss to Hobart (8-0-0). The Statesmen moved from #3 to #2 this week with three first-place votes, they have been idle since their win at Oswego State.

Wisconsin-River Falls (5-0-3) remained at #1 and gained three first-place votes after tying St. Mary's (1-4-2) on Nov. 20. Plattsburgh and Elmira came in at #3 and #4 respectively, with each earning four first-place votes. The Soaring Eagles beat the Cardinals in their head-to-head match-up 3-2 on Nov. 17. Elmira has not played since then, while Plattsburgh has scored wins over St. John's and #11 Norwich (2-2-0).

Oswego State has three losses and one tie on the season, all to the #2, #3 and #4 teams in the country.
