Roetzer & Scalise Named All-SUNYAC

Two members of the Oswego State field hockey team were named to the All-SUNYAC teams, which were announced on Tuesday by the conference office.

Senior defender Kayla Scalise was named to the SUNYAC First Team. Scalise started all 16 games for the Lakers this season and was the anchor of Oswego State's defensive group. Scalise, a native of Clinton, also started all 17 games in her junior season.

Freshman forward Brittany Roetzer was named to the All-SUNYAC Second Team. Roetzer, a native of Akron, led Oswego State in scoring this season with five goals and an assist for 11 points. She scored all three Laker goals in a 3-1 win at Wells on Oct. 10.

The Oswego State field hockey team finished the 2007 season with a 2-14 record.
