Saturday night's game between Washington and Pittsburgh got a little chippy in the third period.
Watch Georges LaRaque and Donald Brashear trade blows, the third time in their careers these two heavyweights have gone at it.
Alexander Ovechkin gets into the action as well, taking out fellow superstar Sidney Crosby.
Jordan Staal then drops the gloves and falls an assist shy of achieving the Gordie Howe hat trick.

I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers. The VOTL.com is also simulcast on Bleacher Report.
