Oswego State volleyball player Amanda Cipriano has been named the Oswego State Student-Athlete of the week. Additionally, Oswego State's athletic website hascreated a page to archive the weekly awards.
Cipriano broke her own school record for digs in a match with 38 against Utica College on Saturday. She set the record earlier this year with 34 against St. John Fisher. The junior also surpassed 1,000 digs for her career and broke the 13-year-old record for career digs for the Laker volleyball team. That record was previously held by Jackie Houghton, who played for the Lakers from 1991-94.
