Syracuse Post-Standard's Lindsay Kramer wrote about the Lakers in the Thursday edition.Garren Reisweber's parents, Gary and Bethann, did not make the trip to the championship game. So they did the next best thing. Sort of.
They had a party at their home in Williamsville and tried capture the atmosphere on video. When Garren got back, he watched a replay of the bedlam.
"My mom didn't know how to work the DVD player. They had a video camera pointed at the TV. When we won, everyone went crazy. There were babies screaming. My dog knocked over the table the camera was on. The camera was aimed at the floor. I'm glad she did that (filmed the chaos). Normally you wouldn't get the noise of the people in the room."
