We Knew They Weren't Good...But Sheesh!

The Syracuse Orange fell 42-13 to Washington last night in the 2007 season opener. Andrew Robinson was sacked seven times but managed 20 completions on 32 attempts for 199 yards and a TD. The Orange defense looked awful, allowing 444 yards (302 on the ground) while allowing the Huskies to convert 7-of-11 3rd down conversions. The rushing attack managed only 8 yards. In short, there is absolutely nothing positive to take from this game. The Orange return to action next Saturday as they visit the Hawkeyes in Aimes, Iowa.
