Clay Buckholz is three outs away from pitching a no-hitter in his second major league game. Buckholz debuted August 17 in a spot start (he won) and then went back to the minors. He was recalled today in time to pitch against the Blue Jays.

Clay Buckholz is three outs away from pitching a no-hitter in his second major league game. Buckholz debuted August 17 in a spot start (he won) and then went back to the minors. He was recalled today in time to pitch against the Blue Jays.
I'm a sports reporter who most recently covered Syracuse University football for Clear Channel Syracuse (620 WHEN & 570 WSYR).
I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers.
