The Oswego State men's soccer team lost 5-1 to nationally-ranked Rochester (1-1) yesterday. The Lakers are off to an 0-2 start for the first time uner coach Bob Friske after finishing 4th at Rochester's annual Flower City Classic.

I attended SUNY Oswego where I majored in Broadcasting-
Mass Communications. I was also the Voice of the Lakers (VOTL) from 2007-2009 on 88.9 FM WNYO Oswego. It was during this time that I created this blog, then known as the WNYO Sports Blog. Upon leaving Oswego, I took the blog with me. I am a supporter of SU & Oswego State Athletics, as well as the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and NY Rangers. The VOTL.com is also simulcast on Bleacher Report.
